My Luckiest Ever Streak With Slots (Part 1)

How I Got Into Gambling
First, let me preface what I am going to tell you by going over my gambling history a bit.
In Finland, slots are just about everywhere. Wherever you go and wherever you look, you are going to find state-run slot machines. At grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations—even hospitals and geriatric homes used to have them before the government decided to pump the brakes a little bit. Certainly, when I grew up in the 90s (born in 1987), slots were everywhere and I, too, got exposed to them at a young age.
Much like many other Finns, I would watch as my parents engaged in some gambling from time to time. Whether it be stopping for gas during a road trip or just buying some milk from the store, slots were always there and my mother often popped in a coin or two. The story here is the following…
