This is my review of Highroller Casino.
In life, there is nothing more certain than change. Sure, you can prepare for things and create all these elaborate plans for the future, but chances are that at least some of that will eventually have to be revamped. You never know when life is going to throw a major wrench into your plans and turn your whole existence upside down… I think this is actually the kind of stuff and thinking that has also drawn me to games of chance!
Speaking of changes, Highroller Casino has undergone some major ones as well. A Betit Operations brand since late 2017, Highroller now flies under the MT SecureTrade Limited banner. And, to be honest, at least at the time of writing, I do not think that the transition has gone greatly…
How does Highroller of new compare to the Highroller of old? Is this still a worthwhile casino to visit? We will dive into these questions headfirst!
Looks and feel of Highroller Casino
To be perfectly frank with you, Highroller Casino used to be one of my favourite online casinos in the world. It used to rely heavily on the excitement and allure of gamification. Each time that you played, you earned points and inched closer to new free spins packages and coins that you could use to purchase your own bonuses. Heck, you could even customise your avatar in a multitude of ways and steal coins from your fellow gamers! And while all of this might sound complicated, it was extremely simplistic and effective!
With new Highroller Casino, the whole cool urban setting and gamification elements are gone. What we now have in front of us almost looks like an unfilled casino template with no casino carousels or enticing imagery. I am not kidding when I say that the website almost looks like one of those “URL for sale” type of deals.
All of this aside, here is hoping that Highroller Casino is still in the midst of finding its new identity and what we are seeing now is only temporary!
Bonuses and rewards
Like I already wrote above, Highroller used to be a true cornucopia of casino rewards and extra fun. In its current state, however, the only thing available was a 100% bonus up to 100 + 100 free spins on top. Fortunately, the terms and conditions for this welcome offer were not too shabby with 45x wagering only applying to the bonus portion. If you are looking for a decent bonus, I guess this is still not too bad of a place to start! (More current bonus information can be found at Highroller, though!)
After logging in with my former credentials, I could also see that Highroller Casino still had somewhat of a rewards section in place. According to the on-site manuals, all you needed to do to unlock new rewards was to play… Furthermore, they even still retained a progress bar that starts from 0%!
The former incarnation of Highroller always used to have around 1,000 to 1,500 games available. I think most of these are still intact, although there are not a lot of ways to filter search results. A game provider-based search would have been especially helpful, but at least you can type in your favourite game studios’ names in the search bar. In addition to Evolution Gaming’s live casino games, you should be able to find slots from the likes of NetEnt, Quickspin, Play’n GO, Yggdrasil, Pragmatic Play, Betsoft, ELK Studios, Microgaming, Red Tiger, Push Gaming and many, many more!
Safety and security
Highroller Casino is operating under the MGA licence. As a result, players all around the world are in for safe times!
Banking options at Highroller Casino
Highroller accepts payments through the following payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, Trustly, Euteller, Paysafecard, Skrill, Neteller and Zimpler. I also asked customer support about the casino’s withdrawal speed and I was told that withdrawals should be processed in around 2 days.
Contacting Highroller Casino’s support can be done by clicking on a speech bubble icon at the bottom of the page. I only had to wait for a couple of seconds for an agent to answer me back. Support is open 24/7.
My experience at Highroller Casino
Clearly, Highroller Casino has fallen from grace. The casino used to be one of the most unique brands in the business, yet now it has been reduced to being just another online casino—and unappealing at that! On the flip side, at least the games are still there and the welcome offer seemed as good as ever!
Again, let us hope that time will take Highroller Casino back to its prominence once again!
