Mr Gold Casino Review
This is my review of Mr Gold Casino.
In our daily lives, we spend a lot of our time talking (and sometimes even worrying) about things revolving around money, which is pretty much a concept that modern humans have invented. Most currency does not usually have any intrinsic value to it—its value is only based on our common, worldwide agreements. You cannot eat money, nor can you heat your house with it—unless, of course, you have tons of notes and are using them as proverbial firewood!
Gold is also something that is not valuable on its own but only because we have agreed upon it. So, here we have Mr Gold Casino that uses the so-called Au to make it look better in the eyes of the iGaming industry. This casino came to be in 2020 and has been developed by a Curacao-company called Miura Technologies B.V.
In this review, I will take a look at whether Mr Gold is worth its weight in gold or not!
Looks and feel of Mr Gold Casino
I was truly hoping that Mr Gold Casino’s looks would be riddled with gold as well. Frankly, I was not disappointed, as starting from the logo, this casino does look pretty golden indeed! Even the huge ad on the homepage saying “10% CASHBACK” is written in golden letters!
Moving around Mr Gold has been made rather painless. All you need can be found easily and without hassle.
Bonuses and rewards
As I already alluded to above, Mr Gold is offering its customers a 10% cashback on all of their net losses. What this means is that you are getting back a tenth of all that you lose once a week. If, for example, you lose 30 here, you can expect to get 3 back—and all without any wagering requirements whatsoever! And, interestingly enough, if you lose for a second week in a row, even your lost cashback will be factored into the new cashback. Nice!
While 10% back might not sound like a lot for those who only make deposits of, say 10 to 50, those losing hundreds will be more than delighted. Having said that, you should only play with money that you can afford to lose! Losing hundreds on online casino games is generally not something that a lot of us should do.
Mr Gold has made it easy for online casino customers to find games. While there is no provider-based search available, you can always use the search bar to type in the name of your favourite games and developers. Unlike with some of their competitors, Mr Gold’s search bar works extremely fluidly. Game providers featured here include NetEnt, Quickspin, Push Gaming, Microgaming, ELK Studios and Pragmatic Play. No Play’n GO, Big Time Gaming or Yggdrasil to be seen, however, although there were close to 1,100 games at the time of writing.
Thanks to Evolution Gaming, you can also find dozens of live casino tables at Mr Gold. And, most importantly, there are no bonus terms to keep you away from enjoying these live games!
Safety and security
As a Finn myself, I always hope to find a European license from the casinos that I am using. Unfortunately for me (and other Europeans), Mr Gold only has a license from Curacao. Having said that, at least the casino’s reputation seems quite stellar with no known track record of any foul play.
Banking options at Mr Gold Casino
As is the case with most iGaming destinations on the internet, Mr Gold has no shortage of payment methods. At least Skrill, Neteller, Zimpler and Ecopayz are all included.
I tried clicking on Mr Gold’s live chat, and the casino suggested that I leave them a message. Because of this, and the fact that the casino was rather new at the time of my visit, I could not access live support for this review.
My experience at Mr Gold Casino
I absolutely hate it when online casinos make their bonus terms into a jungle that even Tarzan would be proud to get through. With Mr Gold, however, there are no bonus terms to hinder your process—and no rules for you to accidentally break! When you combine this with the fact that there are enough games here to last a lifetime, I think you have got yourself a winner! It is a major setback, though, that Mr Gold does not have a European license to its name.
