My experience of True Blue Casino
When you are blue, it usually means that you are sad. The name True Blue, on the other hand, could be a sneaky reference to an old Madonna album. When a casino calls itself True Blue Casino, however, the meaning changes drastically. In fact, “true blue” is actually an Australian slang phrase that basically means “quintessentially Australian.” In other words, True Blue is proud of its Australian roots!
True Blue Casino is indeed an Australian online casino, but its casino license comes from Costa Rica. This casino from down under has been kicking ass and taking names since its very inception in January 2018.
Visually, True Blue looks absolutely fantastic. On the home page here, there is a beautiful seascape animation playing in the background with sharp-looking icons littering the layout. All in all, you get the feeling that this is a very nice place to game, but I will, of course, go into more detail about the actual hits and misses next!
Hits
True Blue is not the kind of online casino that I usually go for, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. There are plenty of things here that differentiate True Blue from its competition, and most of these things will, fortunately, fall into the hits side of things.
The bonus that I was able to grab from True Blue was a 250% bonus all the way up to infinity! Yes, you read it correctly: at least at the time being, this casino did not put any limits as to how much money it would give to its players. It is very rare to ever run into a bonus like this that gives you so much creative freedom. With such a bonus, you are the Picasso and can paint whatever you please. And the bonus terms were not that bad either, although the bonus amount was sadly non-cashable and could never be turned into real money.
In addition to the rather unique welcome offer, True Blue also likes throwing other cool bonuses your way. There really is no shortage of gifts and goodies here, no matter if you are just starting out or a loyal customer through and through.
Misses
This might come as a shock, but True Blue is not kidding when it comes to the casino being an Australian thoroughbred. As such, this website is only available in Australian dollars, which makes the website somewhat hard for people from elsewhere to use.
My favorite games at True Blue Casino
The so-called pokies selection (that would be “slots” in Australia) at True Blue could do with some improvements. The only games available here are made by Real Time Gaming, and we are only talking about a couple of hundred games. Then again, RTG has a pretty stellar track record of creating memorable online casino games.
I could not really pick out a favorite among True Blue casino’s slots, but I did find a lot of them intriguing nonetheless. Storm Lords was probably the most enjoyable one for me, but games like Magic Mushroom and T-Rex II also caught my eye.
