This is my review of 5Gringos Casino.
I love reviewing all the different kinds of online casinos available today. Reviewing old classics is fun because I get to give my expert opinion on brands that have been around for a long time already, whereas new casinos offer fresh new stimuli and a separate type of excitement.
5Gringos Casino was released in late November of 2020, which makes the casino less than 6 months old at the time of writing. Somewhat similar, however, was the casino 7Signs that I just reviewed prior to this newer brand… The similarities between these two casinos are easily explained by the fact that both of them have been created by the same company in Rabidi N.V!
What is 5Gringos all about? We will now go through all of this together!
Looks and feel of 5Gringos Casino
In Latin America, the word “gringo” is used to refer to outsiders and foreigners. If you have ever seen spaghetti westerns, chances are that you were quite familiar with this term already! In 5Gringos Casino’s case, these five foreigners are one zany bunch of individuals! The first one is a badass blonde with a rifle while the next two are your caricature Mexicans with huge sombreros on their heads. One of them is playing the guitar, whereas the other is raising a glass full of beer… The last two gringos are a freedom fighter-like brunette holding two pistols and a muscular Lucha Libre wrestler with a stick of dynamite in his hand and a flower in his mouth… Again, this is quite a wacky cast of characters, and each one of them actually comes with their own type of welcome offer!
The 5Gringos website is quite beautiful and unique indeed. This is not one of your copycat casinos, but it is not all about visual candy either, as all the much-needed features that you would want have also been thrown into the mix!
Bonuses and rewards
Much like its sister casino 7Signs, 5Gringos brings you multiple welcome offers to choose from, each depicted by one of the casino’s personable characters. The variety of choice ranges from a ton of free spins to 200% bonuses, 15% live casino cashbacks, and more. If I were to choose one of these casino bonuses, I would probably go with the 200% bonus, though, as it gives you the most bang for your buck—especially considering the fact that the wagering requirements are not that much lower with any of the other less valuable bonuses.
All in all, I would have loved to see five great bonuses, but most of them are still rather basic/average. I guess you cannot win them all, though!
While the casino bonuses were not necessarily all that they were cracked up to be (or perhaps my expectations have just become too high), the 5Gringos Casino games library will most certainly give you a run for your money! All in all, there are as many as 53 game suppliers here, all vying for your attention and your patronage! Some of the bigger names include Push Gaming, Blueprint, Big Time Gaming, Hacksaw Gaming, Microgaming, Yggdrasil, ELK Studios, Play’n GO, Quickspin, Thunderkick, NetEnt, Red Tiger, and Pragmatic Play.
To make things even more fun for its customers, 5Gringos has decided to let you filter out all the Mexican games with one single push of a button. If you yearn to take full advantage of the distinctive theme of the casino, you could try games like Esqueleto Explosivo, La Fiesta, Lucha Maniacs, Chilli Pop or Extra Chilli! Arriba!
Safety and security
If only 5Gringos has a license from the Malta Gaming Authority… Instead, this brand operates under the Curacao license, which, at least for Finnish people like yours truly, means that I would have to pay taxes for all my winnings from 5Gringos. While I do believe that this casino is actually legit and honest in its business dealing, this lack of a European license is a hurdle that would be difficult for me to cross…
Banking options at 5Gringos Casino
Visa, Mastercard, Skrill and Neteller are all existing in peace here with cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Etherium, Ripple, and Litecoin. If you get to withdraw your money after a successful session, you might need to wait for up to 3 days (plus having to send in your documents) for your money to be sent out to you.
5Gringos certainly seems to have more than five gringos on their customer service staff. The answers that they give here are almost literally lightning fast! On top of the blistering speed, support is open 24/7.
My experience at 5Gringos Casino
5Gringos is mostly a fantastic online casino that leaves a little to be desired. If they got themselves an MGA license, though, things would be even better for Europeans such as me. Customers from other parts of the world, on the other hand, probably will not mind as much.
5gringos is a scam site, that takes your money but never pays out big wins and closes the account.
We are sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with our service. 5Gringos is a fully licensed Casino and we offer only licensed games. We have no influence over the winnings.
Please note that we have informed you of the closure reason via email. We will be arranging a payout of your balance as soon as we receive the payment details from you.
