Bongo.gg Casino Review
This is my review of Bongo.gg Casino.
Have you ever heard of homonyms? Being that I have had extensive studies on languages and all their quirks, this is a term that I am rather familiar with. Homonyms are essentially words that look the same but have different meanings. For instance, the word bongo can actually mean two different things. Firstly, bongo drums are Afro-Cuban instruments. And secondly, the bongo is a horned deer-like animal that lives in Africa. Whether Bongo.gg Casino was drawing inspiration from either of these meanings, I have no idea.
Bongo.gg Casino was established in 2020. Its owner, Reinvent N.V., is incorporated under the laws of Curacao. In this review, I will take a look at whether this online casino is any good or not!
Looks and feel of Bongo.gg Casino
Bongo.gg Casino does not make it obvious where it got its name. There is nothing too African about this site that has seemingly been drenched in a purple coat of paint. While the casino is not particularly good-looking, I would not necessarily call it ugly either. It is kind of just there.
One thing you cannot dispute with Bongo.gg is the quality of its user interface. Unlike many online casinos, this one manages to feel both spacious and compact at the same time. There is nothing extra here—just the stuff that you need.
Bonuses and rewards
When I visited Bongo.gg Casino to see what the welcome offer was like, what I found was a decent 120% casino bonus up to 200. As it turns out, the terms and conditions for said bonus were quite nice as well!
Those who like to play with big bets will be especially happy with the extremely lenient maximum bet rules. Bongo.gg was allowing its players to use bets of up to 10 euro or the equivalent in other currencies. And with seemingly no withdrawal limitations in sight, some might want to try their luck in making a quick work of the wagering requirements with their massive bets. This could, in turn, net you a lot of cash if luck is on your side!
It is interesting how some online casinos will let you know the number of their games right out of the gate while others will not volunteer this information at all. In Bongo.gg Casino’s case, the site itself claims that there are 4,458 games in total with 4,013 of them being slots! I cannot see how this could be the case, however, as the breakdown between different game providers hardly seems to match this number. Even so, here are a few of the game providers with their numbers:
NetEnt: 146 slots
Microgaming: 680 slots
Play’n GO: 157 slots
Pragmatic Play: 137 slots
Red Tiger: 162 slots
Quickspin: 55 slots
Betsoft: 116 slots
Big Time Gaming: 14 slots
ELK Studios: 35 slots
Please do remember that these were the numbers that I found at the time of writing and that they are obviously subject to change. All in all, though, there should be at least around 2,000 slots and an army of amazing game providers to be found at Bongo.gg!
When it comes to live casino games, not many casinos have as many providers as Bongo. In addition to high-class live providers such as NetEnt Live and Evolution Gaming, Bongo also has live games from the like likes of Ezugi, Pragmatic Play, Asia Gaming, AuthenticGaming, eBet, MediaLive and Betgames. What a comprehensive list of companies!
Safety and security
Bongo.gg Casino is operating under the Curacao eGaming license. Unfortunately, this license allows things that would be in violation of the MGA and UKGC guidelines. Even so, I could not manage to find any complaints against Bongo.gg or its owner Reinvent N.V. The company does seem to have at least somewhat of a clean rap sheet, although I am still not a fan of the exclusion of a proper European license.
Banking options at Bongo.gg Casino
Bongo.gg as all the usual payment methods that you could ask for from an online casino, including but not limited to, Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller and Bitcoin. Withdrawals should be processed within a reasonable time, too.
When I tried contacting the 24/7 live chat support, the casino claimed that the average waiting time for answers would be somewhere around 2 hours. Fortunately, though, I think it only took them around 5 minutes in my case. Still, they were so slow to answer my questions that I could tell that they were serving other customers at the same time.
My experience at Bongo.gg Casino
Bongo.gg does a lot of things right. While I do not believe that there are as many as 4,000 slots here, it was easy to see that there were indeed plenty. Combine this with the decent welcome offer and I think you have yourself somewhat of a winner!
If only they had a European license…
