Bullshark Games Review

Bullshark Games Review

Bullshark Games is an independent slot studio from Tallinn, Estonia, that has grown from a single release in late 2023 to a portfolio of more than 40 online slots. The studio builds its games on Hacksaw Gaming’s OpenRGS platform, which means Bullshark titles share the familiar Hacksaw interface, the popular BonusHunt FeatureSpins and Bonus Buy options, and a distribution network that reaches hundreds of licensed online casinos.

What sets Bullshark Games apart from other game suppliers is its “From Players to Players” philosophy. Instead of re-skinning proven hits, the team tries to introduce a new twist in every release – from Grid Boosters and Flip Wilds to progressive Global multipliers and cascading cluster grids. In this Bullshark Games review we look at the company’s history, the best Bullshark Games slots, RTP and volatility, licences and where you can play the games.

Bullshark Games at a Glance

Bullshark Games History

Bullshark Games was founded in 2023 by Andre Villandberg, a former poker pro and iGaming veteran with a background at companies such as Relax Gaming and Yolo Group. Villandberg started the studio because he felt that too many new slots were “copy-and-paste” versions of existing games. The goal was simple: only release games that the team would happily play with its own money.

The studio’s debut slot, Mafia Clash, went live in November 2023. Throughout 2024 Bullshark Games settled into a steady release schedule of roughly one new game per month, and titles like Junkyard Kings, Pickle Bandits and Jawsome Pirates quickly became player favourites. By 2025 the studio had expanded into cluster, scatter-pays and ways mechanics, and in 2026 the release pace increased further with games such as Junkyard Kings 2, Bullshark Brawl, Blood Rebels and Doctor Dust.

Every Bullshark slot goes through extensive play-testing before launch – the founder has said in interviews that he personally spins each game tens of thousands of times before it is released. The studio has publicly stated that it aims to reach around 80 titles by 2030.

Is Bullshark Games Part of Hacksaw Gaming?

No. Bullshark Games is an independent studio, but it develops and distributes its games through Hacksaw Gaming’s OpenRGS (Remote Game Server). This partnership gives Bullshark access to Hacksaw’s certified technology, its game interface and its large operator network. For players, it means Bullshark slots look and feel like Hacksaw games, with the same buttons, menus, Bonus Buy options and mobile-first layout.

Best Bullshark Games Slots 2026

With a new release almost every month, it can be hard to know where to start. These are the most popular and most interesting Bullshark Games slots right now:

1. Doctor Dust

Doctor Dust is a 5×5 cascading cluster slot set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, released on 9 October 2026. Every winning symbol fills a collection bar that unlocks four different Grid Boosters – Clone, Switch, Wilds and Power Line – with cell multipliers of up to 100x. Collect 40 symbols to trigger the open-ended Surface Search bonus, or 72 symbols for the rare Toxic Vault. Volatility is 5/5, the RTP is 96.30% and the max win is 12,000x.

2. Junkyard Kings & Junkyard Kings 2

Junkyard Kings (May 2024) is the studio’s breakthrough hit and its most searched game. It is played on a large 7×7 cluster grid with medium-high volatility, a 96.26% RTP and a max win of 12,000x the bet. The success led to Junkyard Kings 2 in April 2026, which raises the max win to 20,000x.

3. Bullshark Brawl

The studio’s namesake slot puts three shark wrestlers in the ring on a 5×4 grid with 20 paylines. Multiplier symbols with random values can be unlocked on every spin, and in the bonus game they stay unlocked and keep growing. Bullshark Brawl has a 96.27% RTP, 4/5 volatility and a max win of 10,000x.

4. Blood Rebels

Blood Rebels is a gritty 5×4, 20-payline slot where Flip symbols turn low-paying symbols into Wilds and add their multipliers to a Global multiplier. In the bonus games the Global multiplier becomes progressive, and the Total Anarchy feature adds Sticky Wilds. RTP 96.26%, max win 12,000x.

5. Joker Never Retires

A humorous cascading slot about a retired joker in a care home. Each win advances the Daily Dose tracker, unlocking Global multiplier boosts and Extra Wilds, while the Miracle Meds bonus fills the tracker entirely with boosters. RTP 96.27%, 4/5 volatility and a max win of 12,000x.

6. Boombear Bros

Boombear Bros is a 6×6 cascading cluster slot where two explosive bears throw Power Bombs that blast in cross patterns, add clusters and boost cell multipliers. In the Maximum Blast bonus, bombs always explode in four directions and cell multipliers never reset. The max win is 12,000x.

7. Ancient Paws & Age of Seth

For players who want maximum volatility, the Egyptian-themed duo from spring 2025 is worth a try. Ancient Paws is a 5×4, 14-payline slot with 5/5 volatility and a 15,000x max win, while Age of Seth uses a 6×5 cluster grid, also with 5/5 volatility and a 10,000x max win.

• Bonus Buy: every Bullshark slot lets you buy direct access to the bonus game where local regulations allow it.
• BonusHunt FeatureSpins: an optional mode that makes bonus triggers several times more frequent at a higher cost per spin.
• Four win systems: classic paylines, ways-to-win (up to 7,776 ways), Cluster Pays and Scatter Pays (pay anywhere).
• Progressive multipliers: many recent titles feature Global or Cell multipliers that never reset during the bonus game.
• Collection mechanics: trackers and collection bars, such as the Daily Dose tracker and Grid Boosters, that build tension spin by spin.
• Promotional free rounds: operators can award Hacksaw free spins on all Bullshark Games slots.
