Pragmatic Solutions Company Profile

Pragmatic Solutions is a B2B gambling software company that offers a proprietary iGaming platform to businesses operating in regulated European markets. The Pragmatic iGaming platform, also known as PAM, is modular, self-hosted, and easy to integrate with third-party products and services. It has a proven track record of handling volumes approximating 500M GGR on an annual basis and has been built to be flexible and easy to use right from the get-go. The platform supports a wide range of payment processing services and allows for omnichannel distribution, which means that the content (bespoke or provided by the client) can be accessed via mobile, desktop, and land-based casino devices.

Company History

Pragmatic Solutions was launched in 2013 with an explicit mission to build an open, modular, API-based platform and are a sister company to Pragmatic Play, which supplies games to many leading casinos around the world. The PragmaticSolutions platform was designed to be scalable and flexible, allowing for easy integration of third-party products. The first Pragmatic Solutions casinos went online in 2016, and the company continued working with them to gradually improve the software. This process culminated in late 2017 when PragmaticSolutions decided that its product was ready to present to new customers. In 2018, the company officially started accepting new customers, and in 2019, it achieved GLI-19 certification, further solidifying its position as a major player in the B2B iGaming market.

They currently employs 70+ people and is headquartered in Gibraltar.

Pragmatic Solutions Licenses

Pragmatic Solutions has been licensed to offer gambling software and sub-licenses on a B2B basis by the Malta Gaming Authority and the United Kingdom Gambling Commission. Thus, all partners can operate in those jurisdictions without obtaining an individual license. In addition, PragmaticSolutions software has been certified to be compliant with Curacao regulations. The company is currently in the process of obtaining similar certification from the Swedish Spelinspektionen and the Danish Spillemyndigheden.

The Pragmatic Solutions platform is certified to be fully compliant with GLI UK and PCI standards.

Pragmatic Solutions Casino Sites

Notable casinos that run on Pragmatic Solutions software include Casino Days,, and JokerStar. In addition, some Pragmatic systems and games are used by hundreds of casinos that operate on different platforms, including 888 Casino, Unibet, Leo Vegas, Virgin Games, MrGreen, BitStarz, Betfair Casino, and many, many more. Judging by the quality of software, we fully expect the list of casinos that switched to its engine to grow in the coming decade.

In 2021, Pragmatic Solutions inked a deal with the DoubleUp Group and will soon power up its coming multi-brand iGaming operation.

Pragmatic Solutions Games

The Pragmatic Solutions casino platform comes with hundreds of games sourced from leading game development studios. The list includes iSoftBet, NetEnt, Greentube, Play’n GO, Betsoft, 1×2 Gaming, Kalamba, Playson, Push Gaming, Quickspin (Playtech’s in-house slot designer), Quickfire (powered by Microgaming), Scientific Games, Vivo Games, and 20 other companies. Obviously, PragmaticSolutions also offers games designed by Pragmatic Play.

The focus is predominantly on slots, which include Megaways titles (Curse of the Werewolf, Western Gold), fixed jackpot slots (Razor Shark, Midas Golden Touch), Cluster Pays slots (Moon Princess, Golden Ticket 2), Win both Ways slots (Starburst, The Shadow Order), and even classic fruit machines (Fire Joker, Super Flip). Pragmatic Solutions’ table games portfolio is considerably smaller but covers all the important niches, including Blackjack, Roulette, and Baccarat.

Pragmatic Solutions partners also enjoy access to an extensive Live Casino suite, which features Blackjack, Roulette, Sic Bo, Baccarat, Casino Poker, and even Live Lotto and Game Shows. The live games are operated by four providers: Visionary iGaming, Vivo Gaming, iSoftbet, and Pragmatic Play.

Other iGaming Products

As mentioned above, the Pragmatic Solutions software platform is highly flexible due to its modular nature. Aside from RNG-based and live casino games, the PAM Content Management System can also handle sports betting, virtual sports, bingo, lottery games, and even trading. Sports betting content is supplied exclusively by Altenar, while bingo content is handled by Pragmatic Play. As explained by Mark Woolard, Business Development Director at PragmaticSolutions, many of these features aren’t currently used by big-name iGaming operators, but they have been tested by less recognizable sites with positive results.
